JAM TURN OVER

What did I bake

Today I came late. I went looking for my class because they weren’t at the classroom. I remembered that every morning we have to go to the field and play volleyball. The others they go and practice with Mrs Ramkalawan in Netball. After that We had to go to the hall and bake jam turn over. After that we have to go into our class and finish off our work. Just then Mrs Lammas came with the tray. Mrs calls out our name. When mrs calls out my name I ran up to her and got my jam turn over. I took my jam turn over put it to my mouth and munch it. It was delicious and very crispy. I could smell the apricot jam which it smells yum. I wanted to have another one.

Ingredients:
  • Jam
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Knives
  • Forks
  • Pastry

Here are the Steps:

Step 1: Take the pastry and make it flat on a plastic bag.

Step 2: Cut the Pastry it to quarters.

Step 3: Take one pastry and put it into your baking paper.

Step 4: Take the half jam in your spoon and place it in the centre of your pastry.

Step 5: Fold the pastry into a triangle.

Step 6: Take a cooking brush and dip it into a bowl of milk.

Step 7: Spread the milk around your pastry.

Step 8: Take a spoon of sugar and sprinkle it around your pastry.

Step 9: Put it on to a tray and put it on the oven for like about 30 minutes.

Step 10: After 30 minutes you take it out.

1. Tennis and Golf Players In Class in the school down the road, everyone plays tennis or golf or both. In fact 90% play tennis and 60% play golf. What percentage plays both games.

100% - 90% = 10%
100% - 60% = 40%
10% + 40% = 50%

The answer is 50%

2.Draw a number line. Fill in as many percentages and fractions as you can.

3. Jack bought a pair of jeans on 75% off.  The jeans was originally selling for $100. What did jack pay?

75  x 100 =  7500
100     1       100

4. 60% of the students in room 8 have not been overseas.
a) what percentage have been overseas?
b) what fraction have been overseas?

Prefix and Suffix

Today afternoon I was playing this game. How to play is just click the red arrows and try to make it sense. For an Example Home click the arrow and then it say less. Put them together it makes homeless. Prefix is a first word and Suffix is the end of the word.

Hello there today I will be talking about Line Dry. When I play this game it was very excited and cool it is just like patterns you have to put the numbers on it. The 3rd T-shirt is 543 and the 4th T-shirt is 553.That was level 2 and it get harder and harder. Once you get the answer the correct answer right. All the T-shirts goes to the basket.


Maths Hoops

Hello my name is Sini and today I will be chatting about Marh Hoops. Here is a sum Mark had 83 baseball cards. He gave 30 of his card to his best friend. How many baseball cards did Mark have left? First of all I will subtract 83 from 30 and the answer is 53 that was Q1.

I played this game and it was pretty hard as you can see, I was not fast enough to win this race.  I think I  need to learn my times tables so that I can answer the questions correctly and quickly when I play this game again.
